One apprenticeship - two places
Spirituality and the sound of the sea – we have chosen two exquisit qualities,
to make your stay in India an unforgettable experience.
We spend the first half of the Teacher Training at one of India’s holiest places, Tiruvannamalai,
the second half will take place at a beach in Auroville, Pondichery.

Tiruvannamalai
A cozy place, small two-bed cottages with their own terrace in the middle of a grove. Cooking is happening outdoors where we also eat. Bukettshower no Air-Conditon, but a lot of leisure. A simple place, deeply influenced by everyday life in India. The ashram cow, Mikasi, the dog and lots of butterflies. A closed yogashala with fans and colorful Indian paintings and an open yogashala, shady and quiet. Nearby is the holy mountain Arunachala, where we will visit , Ramana Maharshi’s cave and his famous ashram.

Auroville
No matter where you sleep, you can always hear the sound of the sea. And apart from the fishing boats that set sail early in the morning, nothing else can be heard. Lots of silence in often noisy India. We have two yoga shalas at our disposal, an outdoor one for the cool morning hours and an indoor one for when it gets hot outside. Hammocks stretched between palm trees invite you to linger, and the kitchen team takes care of our physical well-being. The Matrimandir is located nearby and we will meditate inside the golden dome.
